Coach Jason Parrish is currently an assistant coach for the at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. This is his first year at BSC where his responsibilities include player development with an emphasis on post play, recruiting, scouting, offensive playbook development, etc.

Before coming to Birmingham-Southern, he served as an assistant at the University of Alabama-Huntsville from 2009-2011. While at UAH, they won two regular season conference championships, made two Division II NCAA National Tournaments, and reached the Elite 8 in 2010-2011. While there, he helped develop 2 All-Conference post players, one of which was named a Freshman All- American in 2009-2010, as well as Player of the Year in the Gulf South Conference and an All- American in 2010-2011. He also served as a student assistant coach at UAH from 2000-2005, while also coaching at two local high schools.

In between his two tenures at Alabama-Huntsville, he served as an assistant varsity coach at Spain Park High School in Birmingham, Alabama.
