Coach Rea is an energetic, passionate, and hard-working teacher of the game of basketball. He is eager to bring student-athletes quality educational and life lessons using a unique combination of athletic and educational experiences coupled with a coaching and playing background at many levels.

Brian Rea will be beginning his 4th year as the Head Basketball Coach at Payson-Seymour High School in Payson, Illinois. After three seasons of 54 wins at Payson, he looks to have continued success as the leader of the Indian cagers.

He also serves as a District #17 Board Member on the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Board of Directors, as well as a regular coach/instructor at the Rick Bolus Blue Chip/High Potential Basketball Camps in Georgetown, Kentucky.
